run free imagination!
Afraid of the dark
Downstairs is where the light is lost,
The lamp is broken beneath the dust,
Imagination twists all sense,
A ghost is coming,
A 'creak' on the stairs.
Peril awaits all who dare
To venture forth and claim what's theirs,
For years have gone yet items remain,
For fear they too shall ne'er return.

ok so i'd written this one before but i liked it so i thought i might post it
The Painted Facade
Mesmorising lies
Cover all our eyes
And so we are blind
To what's really behind
The painted facade,
Of rainbows and blossom trees
where we seek comfort
From false memories.
Now we are caught
The fish in the net
But if we keep our mouths shut
We stop all the chaos
From tearing us apart.
We don't mind the illusions,
As long as we are safe,
And so all of our regrets,
Flee from our hearts.

A Swift And Pure Angel
Carelessly taken
No time to breath
Heads fill with confusion
Faded memories revive behind tired
Eyes, through the tears.
Swiftly and silently you go
Leaving behind a presence
Noone will forget
Time stands still
As your smile warms
Our saddened hearts.
And don't worry
Sleep tight
Sweet dreams
Our swift, pure Angel
We will stay strong for you.
